Anti-Nauseaous / Anti-vomit
Another trick I learned is that giving him an anti-sickness pill before he was given the Methotrexate medicine (Amethopterin Rheumatrex, Trexall and MTX are other names) served him very well and he didn’t feel as bad as when I didn’t give it to him the first day he got that medicine. The quickest way for it to take effect is if you put it under your tongue. And also that it tastes like cotton candy is a plus. If you struggle to get this pill (if you live in the United States like us), ask the pharmacist for the generic version, which is cheaper and usually this medicine is paid for by insurance companies. The generic name is called ondansetron. This little pill is very small and very good and it doesn’t taste ugly. After my son no longer needed it, I had some left and one day I felt very nauseous and took it. It works very fast.
